A general insurance company approached our technology solutions team to modernize its insurance verification process. The existing process took 1–2 days and required significant backend resources, resulting in high operational costs and limited scalability. The client also wanted to improve opportunities for new customer acquisition.
The manual verification process struggled to handle a growing volume of requests efficiently. Customers faced longer wait times, while the business relied on a large backend team to process and verify applications. The system also needed to support different vehicle types and a mobile-first customer journey.
We identified 12 critical use cases for policy issuance and developed an AI/ML-powered verification solution with a high-performance API architecture. The solution automated key verification steps, enabled customers to initiate the process through their smartphones, and supported multiple vehicle categories, including bikes, cars, buses, and trucks.
